Research and evidence show that 40% of Canadians will experience a sleep disorder during their lifetime. Over time, it can lead to long term health consequences including obesity, heart problems, diabetes – to name a few. We can’t change the amount of distractions, pressure, expectations we encounter through living in this modern age; however, we can adjust how we approach sleep as a way to good health by utilizing simple tools to overcome factors that interfere with proper rest.

FINDING A BETTER WAY TOGETHER…

Firstly, I hope this finds you and your families healthy and safe in these unprecedented times. Since temporarily closing my practice at Pure Health 6 weeks ago, life has been VERY different for all of us, not only here in Toronto, but across the globe. We have been all trying to navigate our way through unchartered waters and safe to say for most of us feeling a little lost.

No further restrictions on Massage Therapy practice have been announced. CMTO will review the actual regulations when they are available online and will update RMTs if things change. Currently, regulated health professionals, including RMTs, may continue to operate in accordance with the requirements of Directive 2.
