It’s that time of year again! You may be noticing the shorter days, a little chill in the air, maybe drawn to more comforting foods, possibly wanting more sleep or not sleeping as well. Cap that off with the cold and flu season upon us and it can add up to a stressed, fatigued body and mind.
Research and evidence show that 40% of Canadians will experience a sleep disorder during their lifetime. Over time, it can lead to long term health consequences including obesity, heart problems, diabetes – to name a few. We can’t change the amount of distractions, pressure, expectations we encounter through living in this modern age; however, we can adjust how we approach sleep as a way to good health by utilizing simple tools to overcome factors that interfere with proper rest.
Firstly, I hope this finds you and your families healthy and safe in these unprecedented times. Since temporarily closing my practice at Pure Health 6 weeks ago, life has been VERY different for all of us, not only here in Toronto, but across the globe. We have been all trying to navigate our way through unchartered waters and safe to say for most of us feeling a little lost.
Although no further restrictions on Massage Therapy have been announced, for our mutual safety, protection and the protection of our community my schedule will be closed to all new bookings until MAY 17, 2021.
You may book online for an appointment from this date onward. Please note that all appointments are subject to possible reschedule/cancellation in accordance to all current public health advice. Thank you for your patience and please STAY SAFE!
